Flip Video Tips for Real Estate Investors (Part 2)

March 31, 2010 | By | 19 Replies More

Flip_Video_Camera_Real_Estate_InvestingDue to the response (tons of emails and comments) from my last post, “Are You Using This Killer REI Marketing Tool?”,  I whipped together a sequel to take your video marketing to another level.

Truly, the tips herein could increase your lead volume double or even triple.

So, if you’re going to buy a Flip and start uploading videos online, you might as well implement these simple (but powerful!) tips.

Watch the video below …

Action Summary

1) Check out Ryan Thompson’s blog

He’s an active commenter here at MustKnowInvesting.com and left a great tip on Part 1. His blog is focused on real estate and internet marketing tips for your business.

2) Determine what keywords to target

Head on over to Wordtracker’s free keyword search tool. Once you target good keywords for your video, include them in your headline, description, and tags as explained in the video.

3) Blast your videos out through tubemogul

Getting started is a little bit of a pain because you have to sign up for free accounts at all the different video sharing sites, but after you do it once, you’re done. Then, you can upload a video once to tubemogul, and it will upload it to 20 or 30 other video sites.

Alrighty guys and gals, that’s it for now.

I’m outta here.

~ Patrick

… aka P-Rid

P.S. Have you joined the fan club yet? Head on over and fan me up on Facebook (351 other REIs already have).

P.S.S. Thanks for all the comments on Part 1! Keep ’em coming :-)

P.S.S.S. Yep, there’s a Part 3. Check ‘er out … How to Create Screen Capture Videos for Your REI Biz.

  1. Nice video. When my brother and I have a property for sale, we use our video as a link in Craigslist, Backpage, and Kijiji (now Ebay Classifieds). We upload to about a dozen video sites and actually take about 4-5 different videos of each property that we are selling. We then incorporate different keywords with each video and by using some free press releases, we often get ranked high on Google. Add flyers, postcards, open houses, talking to neighbors and offering an incentive if they bring us a buyer, and putting multiple ads out each day, we often have our property sold before it is put on MLS. Otherwise we use a flat fee MLS service for extra exposure and we are still usually the one’s to bring in a buyer.

    Paul … that’s awesome.

Guys and Gals, check out Paul’s comment. He’s got some great tips for you.

And just like he said, “We often have our property sold before it is put on MLS.”

That’s the POWER of video marketing.

  8. Tubemogul was pretty effortless. I just recently uploaded my first video and it worked like a champ! I’m in a internet marketing group and we were talking about how Youtube won’t allow you to use an opt-in form and pretty strict with things many use in their marketing video’s. Problem solved with Tubemogul. I’ve also heard Traffic Geyser is good but it’s a paid service and I’m going for low-budget, taking baby steps for now. :)
    Good stuff!

      Hey Jesse,

My partner in PMBP, Trevor offers some websites over here… http://www.reitheme.com

      1) make sure your add doesn’t directly solicit investment funds. Go with the “education angle”… for example, “Learn how to earn higher returns backed by real estate…. blah blah blah.” Lead with education, build a relationship with your prospect, then offer your opportunities.

      2) their IRA or 401K must qualify first. If it does, there are certain steps to take to get the funds ready so that they can be lent. We cover this in module 6 in our PMBP system.

      3) you could do a fractionalized trust deed… so that each lender involved is in the same position. If you’re planning on using several people in one deal, you may want to go the syndication route or set up a pool.

You should definitely get with an attorney to advise you before moving forward with anything.

      You’re welcome.

      – Patrick
